The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner is pleased to publish the first batch of guidance and resources designed to assist organisations meet the compliance requirements of the new Data Protection (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2017.

Further documents will be added as and when available but this initial batch includes guidance covering lawful processing conditions, transparency information to be given and transitional arrangements.  There are also templates to assist controllers and processors to meet their record-keeping requirements.
